LALALA!!
it's day 2 of freedom already!
so what have i been doing? let's see..
i packed my room right after my paper ended at 5pm friday, loaded everything into my dad's car, then zoomed to the hospital with my dad to see my granma. it's a real pleasant surprise to see her without any tubes and needles, lying in a noisy C ward instead of an eerily quiet n cold ICU, listening to her fave fei yu qing cds and smiling as her children n grandchildren surrounded her bed.
and guess what? on saturday, granma's given the green light to be discharged from hospital! seriously i never dared to think that this day will come.. not when all the odds were stacked against us and even the docs didn't think she would have high chances of recovering, let alone stepping out of the hospital after a month. but she did. and it's a miracle indeed. :)
anyway, now that's granma's ok, a load's taken of my mind. and it's time for some catching up with old friends and nostalgia on sat nite! went back to tjc on invitation from the 31st council for their council campfire, and i was kinda chosen as guest judge for their camp items. ck n ailing thought i was too lenient though. lol.. oh wells, the highlight was AFTER the campfire, when the 27th squeezed in david's BMW (all 8 of us) and headed to simpang bedok for supper! gatherings are always good with these bunch of people (plus boss who came to meet us there after his hockey match), and we made a pact to go ubin for cycling soon! :) oh yes special mention for THE ELUSIVE TOBIAS TAN who GRACED our event for the last 10 mins n when half of the pple have gone home, though it hasn't been a year since our last meeting with him. sightings of him are an annual phenomenon u see. what a non-existent bra-ther i have. poof.
as for tml, i'm going for an interview with citibank together with felilee! THANKS TO DEAR SWEECHEE for the job opportunity!! :) hope i get it.. then $$ COME COME!! :D
after that i'm off to rach's 21st bday chalet at aloha loyang! theme's geek chic! i am so gona wear shirt n tie there.. hoho!! fun fun fun!! :)
but then amidst all the excitement n happenings, my mind's always on this one person.. hope u do really well for ur last paper n DEARIE I MISS U SO MUCH! i know it's terribly mushy but it's hard to be away from u for 4 long days! *blush*
looking forward to seeing u soon n IKEA on tues! oh oh and phantom of the opera soon! *grins*
