just a quick update:
- went to eat sakae sushi with my psych frens.. includes xueling, yokewen, lanzi, ming, fred, desmond.. had a good time with them swooning over unagi sushi, sashimi and chawanmushi! had a craving for jap food since a very long time but never got the chance.. ahhh finally satisfied..
- joined dear for OMC bbq last week, as requested by commander weijuan.. haha.. alvin's chicken marinating skills are superb.. really sweet and yummy! had a good time with the OMCians making ramly burgers and playing a ridiculous pole ball game.. these people made me feel very much welcomed.. :)
- watched NUS temasek hall's production at UCC on sat.. weizhen's the producer and barry/key kinda asked me n dear to go, so we did.. turned out that aside from weizhen, barry and key, the other producer aprilyn was my p5 & 6 classmate, choreographer amanda was my sec1 & 2 classmate and i met many other long-lost ex-class/school mates there.. seems like we all went to support different people.. haha.. good to meet up with jc mates (council, sabrina & desmond) as well.. after the production, dear brought me to a prata place around serangoon gardens area.. had delicious cheese mushroom prata and syrup lime drink.. nice!
- hallprod (sort of) ktv session.. 5 morons chiong-ed 5 hours of ktv.. haha.. had a great time singing my heart out with hallprod songbirds: johnson, zongming, justin, lihui.. after ktv, me lihui and justin went to have dinner at manhatten fish market.. justin and i shared a manhatten platter for 2! oh the absolutely scrumptious prawns with sizzling melted cheese! *swoons* we'll go back to plaza singapura again to try the riverside indo restaurant which we missed out on!
- hall 2 CNY dinner at sembawang SAF yacht club yest.. i thought that place was not bad cos it's just beside the sea.. would have been a sight if only we din arrive at the ulu-ated club when it's all dark and starry.. but anyway, food wasn't too bad and we had generous portions since hallprod tables only had 6 people each! woootz! haha.. god bless the hungry souls.. hallprod also HUAT with yifang winning a golden pig and zongming a jukebox.. 2 out of 9 prizes.. not bad.. i drank a little beer.. 1 and a half cups actually.. then i got all pinkish.. hoho.. idiot coco keep toasting people but din empty his cup.. growl. then it's back to hall for mahjong again. lost 1 buck to sebastian. darn.
- decided to withdraw out of canoeing expedition last minute after much deliberation.. which may turn out to be a good choice cos it rained non-stop today.. from like 12 plus and it has not stopped yet.. lanzi told me they were canoeing in the rain.. well luckily i din go.. if not i would have freaked out in the rain with choppy seas, howling wind and drenched to the skin. but then again, i would have dear to protect me. hahaha.. my knight in bright life jacket.
- tml i'll be off to jem's place for HUAT mahjong blackjack and everything gambling.. woo hoo! mini clique gathering with lanzi, xueling, jem, justin and kel.. yoke can't make it and mindan is in vienna.. ahh pity.. wish me luck in HUAT-ing! :)
- got family gatherings and frens' bdays coming up! and it's OMC subcom nite next wk! so exciting!
