to my dearest council darlings: thanks for all my best memories of tj.. it's cos of council and meeting u people that made my life colourful and yay-worth.. looking back, i still miss all the fun times huddled in council room, the nightly visits to long john's, all our successful events and the stayovers in school.. glad to have met the bunch of u, and the precious esprit de corps and lasting friendship we all share!

this post is gona be random.

i'm having this sense of deja vu, seeing hallprod take shape again at this time of the year. it seemed not long ago when i was stage manager and losing sleep days before the actual production. guess i'll be losing sleep again this year as co-producer. worried for ticket sales and all. oh well gota have some faith. am keeping my fingers crossed that this production will go down in verve history as the most successful and ambitious production ever.

i really like what i'm doing and i'm not really looking forward to idle life after production. am already beginning to wonder what is there for me to do to keep myself occupied after february. don't exactly wana stay in my room and mug. so not me. :(

i think (hope) my roomie still loves me after everything we've gone through. still remember last year when we were so afraid that we'll hate each other working so closely together in hallprod. well it's the final 3 weeks in our term already. and we haven't gone for each others' throats yet. :) roomie, it's not easy being producer. but i hope that u know there's always me who's supporting u in ur endeavours. u're not alone in this.

i don't think i'm that independent. and i'm not as emotionally strong as i thought i can be. in many aspects, i need somebody there for me, be it family, friends, or the one closest to me. kinda realised how much i need these people only when they are not around. maybe i've taken them for granted for too long and this is my wake up call to start cherishing what i have.

i'm so broke recently so i apologize to whoever i owe money to. i hate to be financially dependent on my parents cos i know they are tight too. so i'll have to wait till i get my living allowance from ntu to pay back everything i owe. much as i don't like to owe people money, i've got not much choice. got barely enough to spend on meals. sorry!

i'm hoping and hoping that someone from kayin's class will drop jap so that i can be in the same class as her. it's our first module taken together.. don't separate us pleaseeeeeee. i'm so desperate that i'm having nightly dreams about it.

i think i'm getting frail and sickly. am having headaches and waves of nausea once in awhile. feels so cui. sigh. don't like the feeling. have even lost my appetite.

i think i think too much. (hmm pun intended) i'll channel all my energy to mugging then. at least it'll be more productive.

i got no ah tiong stats lecture tml.. meaning i get to sleep till 4.30pm for the next lecture.. now THAT'S good news.

had a HUGE family gathering for my mum's side on new year's day! a granduncle from china came to visit us for the first time, so everybody (who's in sg) came together at orchard tower ktv.. it's also to celebrate 3 people's bdays - my aunt and 2 family friends.. think i haven't seen most of my mum's side relatives since chinese new yr LAST YEAR.. haha.. so yup.. rare occasion!

the girls: tanya (daughter of a family friend), dyanne, avis, me, siqi..
i'm the eldest female cousin in this side of the family.. the rest of the cousins are guys..

dyanne, avis, me.. gosh how these 2 girls have erm.. grown.

me, avis, siqi.. avis always has the same smile.. hmm..

the 4 snake babies.. all 18 this year! alvin's taking photography at NAFA now.. and he dances really well.. now that's another grown up boy.. he used to be an irritating little brat! :)

my childhood play partner.. 3 years younger but i spent most of kiddy days playing hide and seek and what-nots with this girl, her 2 bros mark and macus (they left the party early.. youngest 15 yr old macus is 178cm now! faints!), and alvin. we used to stay over at each others' places alot.. ahh those were the days...

the kids took the backseat while the adults went mad that nite with groovy songs, saucy dance moves (imagine body-to-body-stuck-together-moves by at least 30-odd yr old aunties), lots and lots of liquor (my face was red by the end of the nite), crazy booze games with dices and zhong ji mi ma. doesn't sound like a gathering of old folks eh? my folks are the hippiest people on earth man..

my parents dancing to some slow song.. my aunt danced with her daughter avis.. haha.. there were at least 5 'couples' on the floor..

happy daddy and mummy.. greatest parents on earth.. :)

that's my bro.. he couldn't stay long cos he's a policeman in orchard area (to prevent bribery case).. i think he looks more like a villian than policeman though..

everything ended past 5am amidst laughter, singing, toasts and thank-you speeches.. it's great to see all the aunties and uncles, especially all my cousins (who were not in my pics).. our memories of each other were like stuck when we were little and playing ridiculous games.. haha.. time passed so fast and we're all so grown up! ahhh i sound so old.. heh.. all in all it was splendid time i spent with them.. and we're gona meet again this sat for granduncle's farewell party.. :)

publicity peeps had their foto shoot in this neat little corner.. there's more of these seats upstairs where there's also live middle eastern music.. the beds are abit like the upstairs of 'the balcony'.. very comfy and classy..

the tea set is so cute! i had it as my 'props'.. heh. oh they also used the teacups filled with tea to make the foto lighting look nicer by shooting the pics through the tea.. how smart is that?!?

after fotoshoot, most of us stayed for dinner at zam zam's.. had a hearty meal of murtabak and teh-tarik, complete with great company.. these are the members of the first hall prod dinner pioneers: milly, huangfang, weiwei, keychain, hallqueen, zongming, ahlien, jt, maipigu, zhenhao..
