that's me with our freaking sweet watermelon and apple juice. only 20 baht! not even SGD$1~~ shiok! weather almost killed us though. i think when this pic was taken, i just puked not long ago. the sun and crowd and stuffiness just got to me. puked alot. eww.. thank goodness dear reacted fast with the plastic bag, if not i would have made a mess of myself. thank u for the tlc dear! :)
that's how crowded chatuchak was. people mountain people sea! it's even worse in the alleys. imagine bugis street times maybe 20. we couldn't finish shopping all 20 over sections even when we went back the next day. only covered like half. cheapest buy in town! bought slippers, tops, bag, earrings, shades.... everything less than SGD$10 or 199 baht! woohoo! :) as u can see, there's not much fotos cos we were too busy shopping. heh.
jessica and me: excited gals, glowing from delight after a satisfying afternoon at chatuchak.
on a tuk-tuk to suan lum night bazaar.. exciting ride with bangkok exhaust fumes, wind in ur face and piercing engine-revving. "mr. brosnan" style.
suan lum is like chatuchak, but more expensive and neater. the ferris wheel there is like freaking high! like 20 storeys or something. pity we didn't sit on it though. costs only 100 baht (less than SGD$5). centre pic is the suan lum food and beer garden. click to see enlarged version. it's as huge as our padang, with a large stage at the end. they've got many different performers doing song and dance sequences onstage. babes with jessica alba abs (as daro described) but duno if they are bonafide females anot.. ahha.. got 2 huge screens showing live soccer match also.
